My Blogger Wishlist
You heard it here first: blogging is hard to do! As it begins to resonate with me that that I can make my desire to become a full-time entrepreneur, the reality of all of the hard work that has to go into it hits me like a ton of bricks. How can I do this as a single mom during a global pandemic, while homeschooling my kids, and keeping some form of sanity. Simple. Like every other mother before me has. That means to roll up my sleeves, plan, and dig in. It was during the planning process that I realized I don’t quite have all of the blogging gear I would like to have. The cool tools that can take me to the next level. From there, I developed my first wishlist for my company. After doing a little research, I narrowed my wishlist down to my top five desirables. Here they are, in no particular order: Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II- This small but mighty camera is a blogger fave. Equipped with a bright lens and large sensor, it allows for creating great pics and movies. It is also noted for its phenomenal ease of use for rookies.ESDDI Photo Studio Light Box - When creating great, professional level product photos, a light box is a must! And this particular light box comes with a turntable! HSN ain’t got nothing on me with this in my arsenal! Available on Amazon.GSKAIWEN 180 LED Light Photography Studio LED Lighting Kit- Bring the outdoor sunshine in with light kit! Two slim lighting poles with LED lights create beautiful lighting that is comparable to natural lighting. Perfect for those winter days when you’re stuck inside creating content. Thank me later! Also available on Amazon.#makechichappen: Your 52-Week Social Media Game Plan- A blogger’s best friend: a planner. In addition to tips and hacks to keep your blog rolling along, your purchase includes an additional ton of free resources via their website! Yep. And by now, you already know… Amazon.Apps- What doesn’t require an app these days, right? My current apps in rotation are Canva (for easy-to-do graphics), Later/Planoly (for great analytics and social media trends), and Google Docs (for keeping everything in place and streamlined). As you can see, most of these aren’t just things for wishful thinking, they’re actually essentials. I hope that you may find use for some of it. Let me know what’s on your wishlist! I’m all ears.
As always…Yours in Style,
