At the age of 2 and wearing her first pair of cognac knee boots, a style star named Monique was born. Whether it was putting together the perfect outfit, achieving the bomb blowout, or offering her friends style tips, Monique has always had her hands in fashion. Over the years, she developed multiple brands, including a PR firm, an event planning company, modeling agency, and her personal baby, Fashion Week Mississippi, which went on to inspire various other Fashion Weeks throughout the state. With almost 20 years retail experience (16 of those in management), Monique is also a retail connoisseur, serving in leadership and management roles at Fortune 500 Companies such as Victoria’s Secret, and more.

Having a vast experience and appreciation of fashion, Monique is currently developing and fashion and lifestyle blog and YouTube channel that focuses on style for the everyday 27+ year old woman with grown woman interests and responsibilities. Expect both au courant and classic looks-for-less as well as designer fits, beauty hacks, real life tips, and more on her budding YouTube channel, Chicago Style Cult.
